Hynčice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɦɪntʃɪtsɛ], German: Heinzendorf bei Odrau) is a Silesian village, administratively part of Vražné municipality, located about 13 km west of Nový Jičín in Moravian-Silesian Region, Czech Republic. As of the 2021 census, the village reported a population of 197, marking a 15% decline from the 2001 census figure of 232. This village is renowned for being the birthplace of Gregor Mendel, historically referred to as Heinzendorf bei Odrau.
