What's he doing now?
[edit]A lot in the intro, but what is his current occupation in politics? -DePiep (talk) 07:15, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
As both a scientific and medical illiterate, he's spearheading the New Labour equivalent of the Nazi's 'Aktion T4 Programme' to get rid of expensive-to-treat elderly and disabled people by chairing the highly biased 'Commission on Assisted Dying' -
Comparing Hitler's decree of 1st September1939, to Falconer's recommendations to Parliament:
'Reich Leader Bouhler and Dr. med. Brandt are charged with the responsibility of enlarging the competence of certain physicians, designated by name, so that patients who, on the basis of human judgment [menschlichem Ermessen], are considered incurable, can be granted mercy death [Gnadentod] after a discerning diagnosis.'
" a legal framework that would enable those who had been diagnosed with less than a year to live to seek an assisted suicide, if two independent doctors were satisfied with the diagnosis, and were capable of taking the medication themselves, without help.." - chocks away chaps, and let the 'Palliative Care Gas Wagons' roll! 212.139.107.154 (talk) 22:55, 5 January 2012 (UTC)drlofthouse212.139.107.154 (talk) 22:55, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
- And, for what reason is this article called "Charles Falconer, Baron Falconer of Thoroton"? -DePiep (talk) 23:35, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
- This article is titled as such per WP:NCPEER, he is a life peer, and as such is Baron Falconer of Thoroton.--Tærkast (Discuss) 17:35, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
