[edit]I suggest we divide this into categories for the Roman Kingdom, Roman Republic and Roman Empire. Should help to reduce this size. Oberiko 01:28, 22 Jun 2004 (UTC)
This category is such a nice view for ones eyes! [[User:Muriel Gottrop|muriel@pt]] 14:21, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
I put this into "Category:Italian people" - just leaving the note at the top is fine from getting from here to there; but it doesn't let the opposite happen! VivaEmilyDavies 22:10, 8 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Another scheme might be to divide into the categories of people, places, technology, society/culture, and events. (Other categories are of course possible, but I think these would cover most entries.) My only concern with the categories of Roman Kingdom, Roman Republic, and Roman Empire is that it's not always clear what the boundaries are between these. Especially with the empire. When exactly did the empire come into existence? There is bound to be plenty of disagreement about that. But it's hard to confuse a person with a place or event.
