[edit]Is this just for current politicians or past politicians as well? Federal, provincial, municipal? Do school board trustees get on this list as well? -- Matty j 06:23, Jun 19, 2004 (UTC)
There should be far fewer people listed on this page, many of them can easily be moved to sub-categories. - SimonP 22:24, Aug 21, 2004 (UTC)
I agree, I have started a "Members of the Canadian House of Commons" sub-category and I am starting to move all the MPs to this category. --YUL89YYZ 17:19, Sep 9, 2004 (UTC)
Objective representation of CDN political spectrum
[edit]Shouldn't there be broad sub-categories representing e.g. the left political parties and groups in Canada? (I understand, without asking, that bourgeois parties are represented de facto status quo already -- without being identified as such.)
I don't change this page myself, because Wikipedia clearly still has a general "Western" status quo bias (intentional or not), and first I'd like to know if the political hegemony which is poltics in Canada, also has an ideological lock on this section of Wikipedia. In other words: would such classifications be a problem for some possible vested interests?
Just asking.
